Linked Charities

Over the years charities and non-governmental organisations have been hugely involved with supporting Romania's recovery from its damaging dictatorship.  The following organisations continue to be committed to supporting the country's reform:-

ActionSpaceMobile  and Muzika are two charities involved in training programmes in Romania and working in similar fields to Music as Therapy.  More recently Rowan Romania has been developing projects with a therapeutic slant.

 The Cleaford Christian Trust are an organisation that offer information about Romania in general and support to international Non-Governmental and charitable organisations working in Romania.

The Relief Fund for Romania is a leading organisation that has been working in Romania since the 1990s.  They initiated the programmes in Bacau that are now run by The Foundation for Community Support (beneficiary of Project 98: Bacau)

For keeping up to date with political and legislative developments in Romania, the Romanian Government have a website which is available in Romanian, English and French.

After her involvement with Music as Therapy in 2001, Ellie Watts has gone on to develop a similar skill-sharing approach in Bosnia for The Sunflower Charity
