How it works

• Equal numbers of boys and girls meet at a glamorous venue in the early evening. 
  

• There's time for a drink before the speed dating begins.
  

• A card will be given to keep track of the people you meet. You will be given the following options to circle will be: -
               a) Would like to see again
               b) Friendship only
               c) Not interested
  

• Boys are seated opposite the girls and given a chance to talk for 3 minutes.
  

•  Every 3 minutes a bell will ring and at this sound each boy will move along one seat. 
  

• At the end of each three minute mini-date there will be an opportunity to mark the card as to whether you would like to meet up with that person again. This process continues until all the couples have met.
  

• Oh... and there'll be a drinks interval to ensure you remain refreshed throughout!
  

• At the end of the evening the organisers will come round and collect your cards (they are confidential and will only be seen by the organisers). 
  

• After the serious business of the mini-dates is over, there is usually the opportunity to mingle  further, either at the venue or at one of Music as Therapy's subsequent events.
  

• We will notify you by e-mail by the end of the following day if you have a match - this is only if both parties circle option a) Would like to see again.
